Sean Ferrell
Video Coach

A native of St. Louis, Ferrell was named the Blues Video Coach in the summer of 2013. Ferrell brings over 15 years of coaching and player development experience including working with players at both the Amateur and Professional levels. Over the past seven years, Ferrell has specialized in skill development, crafting off-season training programs for players in the National Hockey League (NHL), American Hockey League (AHL), United States Hockey League (USHL) and North American Hockey League (NAHL). Previously, Ferrell has conducted in-season and off-season training with Blues players as well as other locally-based NHL players dating back to 2010. Most recently, Ferrell was named Assistant Coach of the St. Charles Chill (Central Hockey League) prior to joining the Blues.

Ferrell has also held many positions within USA Hockey including, Director of Coaching Education Program – Missouri, Intern Coach at multiple Select Festival Camps, and participated in the evaluation of National Team Development Program (NTDP) candidates.

Ferrell grew up playing hockey in St. Louis where he played four years varsity at St. Louis University High School including serving as captain during his senior year. Ferrell also played two-plus seasons with the St. Louis Jr. Blues in the North American Jr. Hockey League before embarking on his professional career in coaching.

Ferrell and his wife Cindi live in Webster Groves and have four children Adam, Parker, Killian and Isabella.
