MY BLUES ACCOUNT

At the March 28 game vs. Los Angeles, the Blues partnered with the Be The Match registry to support Seth Lange, a Blues fan that is battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Be The Match volunteers were on-hand to give fans the opportunity to join the registry during the game. The process included completing a registration form and self-swabbing your inner cheeks. Fans that joined the registry at the game were given a raffle ticket to win great Blues prizes. The winning raffle numbers are: 806362, 721892, 806484, 665638, 665565. If you have a winning raffle number, contact Hannah Uhlenbrock via e-mail for information on how to claim your prize.

If you couldn't attend the game but would still like to join the Be The Match registry, you can learn more online at

Help us find a match for Seth and bring awareness to the importance of growing the bone marrow donor registry list.

Seth’s Story
Seth, now 16, was diagnosed with ALL at the age of 14. He has undergone months of chemotherapy and did achieve remission. Unfortunately, his cancer recently relapsed during maintenance chemotherapy, surprising doctors as a relapse in this stage of treatment is rare. Seth’s relapse makes him a good candidate for a life-saving bone marrow transplant and a search is on for a donor match.

In December 2011, Seth’s only wish for the holidays was to deliver smiles to the children at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, where he spent a lot of time that year battling Leukemia. With the help of his family, he organized a toy drive and in no time collected enough toys to fill a large truck. On December 19, 2011, Blues players Alex Pietrangelo and Brian Elliott were amazed by the story of Seth’s generosity and joined him in delivering the toys to the children at Cardinal Glennon. more

About Be The Match
Be The Match is a non-profit organization operated by the National Marrow Donor Program. Be The Match connects patients with their donor match for a marrow or umbilical cord blood transplant. Thousands of people each year are diagnosed with Leukemia and other life-threatening diseases and will need a marrow transplant for a chance at survival. Seventy percent of patients will rely on Be The Match to find an unrelated donor. Friends and family of Seth will be holding a series of drives to encourage people to join the registry. They hope to increase the chances of transplant becoming a reality for Seth and others like him.
