Hockey Fights Cancer Night
The Blues held Hockey Fights Cancer Awareness Night on October 22, in celebration of Mandi Schwartz.

Schwartz, the sister of 2010 Blues draft choice Jaden Schwartz, received a stem cell transplant in September in an effort to beat cancer that had been destroying her bone marrow since 2008. Complete recovery of her immune system will take about a year , and she'll be monitored closely before she can return home to her native Saskatchewan.

Lavender ribbons were given to fans, and fans were also invited to sign a card for Mandi to show their support.

Fans could learn more about The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Be the Match, and Friends of Kids with Cancer at information tables on the concourse during the game. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Be the Match received proceeds from a special silent auction, while proceeds from a one of a kind Brett Hull statue raffle benefited Friends of Kids with Cancer.
