Kelly Chase
Radio Color Analyst


Kelly Chase will be entering his 14th season as analyst for the Blues radio broadcasts. Chase brings an interesting mix of insight and analysis to the booth along with fellow broadcaster Chris Kerber.

He leaves behind a 12-year NHL career, which included eight years as a member of the Blues. Chase officially retired from the NHL on July 28, 2000. He finished his career with 458 games played, 17 goals, 36 assists and 53 career points. Chase ranks second on the Blues’ all-time penalty minute list with 1,497 minutes and finished his career with 2,017 total penalty minutes.

In 1998 Chase received the King Clancy award from the NHL, which is given to the player who has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution to his community. In 1993 he established the Gateway Locomotives, which teaches the sport of hockey to handicapped individuals. Chase was also a part owner of the three-time (2007, 2008, 2009) National Champion St. Louis Bandits of the North American Hockey League.

Kelly and his wife Raelynn have three sons, Will, Ben, and Luke.
